1. There are more than 500 species of sharks, but in popular imagination there’s really only one.
2. White sharks aren’t merciless hunters, they aren’t always loners, and they may be smarter than experts have thought. Great whites appear and disappear at will, making it nearly impossible to follow them in deep water.
3. great white sharks eat fish, rays, and other sharks. Adults eat larger prey, including pinnipeds, small toothed whales, otters, and sea turtles.
4. 37 °C
5. Today, with long-term, long-distance tags that can communicate via satellite, scientists are finally getting some clarity. The area is roughly the size of California and thousands of feet deep, which makes it hard to monitor sharks there.

There are over a whopping 500 species of sharks. It is a common misconception to think that Great White Shark is a blood thirsty killer roaming the oceans, they also aren't always lonely. Great White Sharks usually feed on seals. The Great White Shark's core temperature is about 79 degrees fahrenheit regardless of the surrounding temperature. I have learned that Great White Sharks cannot be kept in captivity, and I learned the areas which they usually live and the routes they migrate.

There is plenty of more than 500 species of sharks. There is much of what we think and know about great white sharks that isn't true. Great white sharks aren't hunters, they aren't always loners and they actually can be smarter than what experts have thought surprisingly. A primary food source for sharks is rays, fish, sea turtles, otters, and actually other sharks. A great white sharks body core temperature is 37 degrees celsius. No one has seen great white sharks mate or give birth. We don't really know how many there are or where, exactly.

The amount species their are for sharks is 500.Two things that people think differently of is they are not hunters and kill. Also another thing is they could be very smart and know what they are doing. The main food source for the great white shark is seals, sea turtles, fish, and rays etc.The temperature of the shark is 79 degrees in their core temperature.I've also learned about this article that the sharks need our help protecting them because people kill them and sell their parts.Lastly, many sharks live in California because they cant be tracked in the deep waters.

The species of shark is more than 500 species of sharks. People always think of sharks as a human killer which is not entirely true,we are mistaking by our looks. Study's show that from beneath the water we appear to a shark as a seal, which makes them believe of attacking. they also are intelligent creatures. Sharks will eat anything, they will fest on smaller fish, man rays and seals. Sharks can maintain its a body temperature no matter they are and that temperature is 79 degrees f. The great white is one of six shark species that are endothermic, which means they can raise internal body temperatures over that of surrounding waters. This allows great whites to inhabit extreme depths as well as cold waters of higher latitudes, while still being able to function efficiently to capture swift and agile prey. Sharks have been around for 450 million years.

Great White Sharks are the most feared and well known predator world wide. Despite the Great Whites popularity they are not the only shark swimming in the ocean. It is estimated that there are approximately 500 different species of sharks. Due the Great Whites well know reputation of being vicious people often have misconceptions about their behavior. Despite common belief Great Whites are not merciless hunters, they aren't always loaners, and they are much more intelligent then many experts originally believed. Great Whites primary food source consists of Seals, Sea Lions, fish, other sharks, and various other dead organisms. Despite the temperature of the surrounding waters Great Whites always maintain a stable body temperature of 37 degrees celsius. While ready this article I learned many new interesting thing about Great Whites for example, attacks on people are incredibly rare. In waters off of California the chances of a surfer being bitten are 1 in 17 million. For swimmers it is even rarer one attack occurs every 738 million beach visits. Another fact I learned was that Female Great Whites swim in the predictable straight patterns while males swim up and down in the water column, possibly looking for mates.

There are over 500 species of sharks. They are two myths about them many people believe, One is that they are not merciless hunters they are cautious hunters, and two they aren't always loners. Their core body temp is 79 degrees fahrenheit. Two facts about the shark is that they have a vein that delivers warm blood to the eyes and brain to keep them vigilant in cold water, and they don't usually gather around the east coast but have recently been spotted around the Cape Cod
