Welcome to APES

AP Environmental Science (APES) is a year long college level course designed to explain who life on the Earth is sustained, which leads to environmental problems, how humans are responsible and interact with these elements and how these problems can be solved.

This course is first and foremost a science course.  That being said this type of science without social context is not anywhere near interesting nor does it do it justice in understanding the big picture.

Topics is APES include: Scientific Analysis, the solid earth, atmosphere, biosphere, cycling of materials, human population growth, energy, resources, environmental quality, global changes, economics, politics and philosophy.
