Wow! Toxic substances really are all around us and we don't even know it. I asked my parents and both said that they weren't even aware of asbestos turing up in Roberto Clemente Park. People need to stop treating the Earth like a dumping ground, so less substances have a chance to seep into the environment. If more of us invested in composting our garbage, less of it will end up in landfills resulting in less toxic substances in the environment. We need to stop treating the Earth like there's an Earth 2.0

I couldn't agree more Corinne! It is utterly disgusting how people are treating the environment as a dumping ground. It's just pure laziness and we need to stop it.

I had no clue that asbestos was found in Roberto Clemente Park! It being so close to home you would think it would turn up on the news or something. But my mom watches the news every morning before work, and she had no clue about this either! It's disgusting how something so toxic and disgusting can show up in such a beautiful wildlife park because of people just dumping their garbage everywhere and anywhere. We need to implement tougher legislation to penalize these litterers to save our Earth. Because if we continue this mistreatment of our environment, where will we go? The Earth is all we got and we need to treat it right.
