I currently teach AP Environmental Science, Living Environment and Marine Science. I have been teaching at Sayville for over 10 years. I am passionate about learning and truly enjoy teaching. I have "flipped" most of my classes and do very little lecturing and more hand-on learning. I am the Director at Large for Environmental Science in STANYS (Science Teachers Association of New York State) since 2012. I received the Bright Light Award from Asset in 2014 and was awarded the Suffolk Section Teacher of the Year in 2009. I have presented at numerous conferences including the Annual STANYS Conference, Tech Summit, and ASSET. I have traveled to Costa Rica, Europe and much of the United States. I have two boys who keep me very busy at home and I can not imagine it any other way!
